The brand new project by local developer Asia Green Group, The Pier is a freehold hybrid residence comprising two types of units, standard serviced residence and dual key serviced residence. Developed on a prime location facing an extensive and stunning sea view, the development provides a sensational avenue for residents to come back home to. As a means of elevating the living experience for their wide clientele, The Pier also introduced Penang’s first wave pool and sustainable green features.
Before kick starting the project, we brainstormed strategies to communicate the attributes that set The Pier apart from other developments. To effectively translate The Pier’s ambition to its audience, we need a solution that works. Thus, we came up with a brand identity to drive the project forward.
Drawing inspiration from the renders, we designed the logo mark to resemble the observation deck of The Pier. The symbol “P” in the logo illustration depicts the combination of the deck and the steady, majestic waves surrounding the location, a union that is essential to The Pier. The sleek, modern logo paired with a wider, rounded typeface is a nod towards the viewing deck concept and a representation of the project’s drive towards innovation. Acting as a separator between the symbol and location lockup, the wavy line gives the logo a cleaner identity. Along with the logo, we put together a colour palette comprising different shades that embodies the spirit of the project.
Once completed, we moved on to adapt the identity onto some promotional collateral for the project. We also worked some magic on designing the landing page for The Pier, adding touches of elegance and fluidity to create an online showcase that captures the essence of the project.
